Return Policy

Refund and return eligibility at Red Rock Title & Settlements, LLC is determined on a case-by-case basis, subject to applicable regulations and the stage of services rendered at the time of cancellation. To request a refund, please contact our team directly at www.rr-title.com, and a settlement representative will review your request promptly.

For a website, I’d make it broad enough to cover both Red Rock Law Group and Red Rock Title & Settlements, while distinguishing earned legal fees, title/settlement work, and third-party costs. I’d also avoid saying all payments are automatically nonrefundable, because legal retainers/advance fees can have specific trust-account and ethics requirements. The stronger position is that fees are nonrefundable once earned or once the corresponding services have been performed.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: August 30, 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to services provided by Red Rock Law Group, PLLC (“Red Rock Law Group”) and Red Rock Title & Settlements (“Red Rock Title”). By engaging our services, submitting payment, or authorizing us to begin work, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

General Refund Policy

Our fees compensate us for professional services, time, expertise, document preparation, transaction processing, title and settlement work, administrative work, and other services performed on your behalf.

Once services have been rendered, work has been performed, or a fee has otherwise been earned, the corresponding fee is nonrefundable.

A client's decision not to proceed with a transaction or matter after work has begun does not automatically entitle the client to a refund for services already performed.

Red Rock Law Group, PLLC

Legal fees paid to Red Rock Law Group are governed by the applicable engagement agreement and applicable rules governing attorney fees and client funds.

Once legal services have been performed and the corresponding fee has been earned, that portion of the fee is nonrefundable.

Services may include, without limitation:

  • Attorney consultations and legal advice;
  • Legal research and analysis;
  • Review of documents, records, deeds, contracts, or other materials;
  • Drafting or preparation of legal documents;
  • Estate planning documents;
  • Deeds and real estate documents;
  • Business formation or transactional documents;
  • Contract drafting or review;
  • Communications, negotiations, or correspondence undertaken on the client's behalf; and
  • Other legal or professional work requested or authorized by the client.

If a client cancels or terminates representation before all services have been completed, any refund will be limited to amounts, if any, that have not been earned, subject to the engagement agreement and applicable law and professional responsibility requirements.

Completion of the client's ultimate objective is not required for a fee to be considered earned where legal services have already been performed.

Red Rock Title & Settlements

Fees charged by Red Rock Title for title, escrow, settlement, closing, processing, coordination, document preparation, or related services are nonrefundable to the extent the corresponding services have already been performed or costs have been incurred.

This applies even if the underlying purchase, sale, refinance, or other transaction is later delayed, canceled, terminated, or fails to close.

Work performed may include, without limitation:

  • Opening and processing a transaction;
  • Ordering, reviewing, or examining title;
  • Preparing title commitments or related documentation;
  • Obtaining payoff information, lien information, HOA information, or other transaction documents;
  • Preparing settlement or closing documents;
  • Communicating and coordinating with lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, buyers, sellers, borrowers, or other parties;
  • Conducting title clearance or curative work;
  • Preparing for or conducting a closing or settlement; and
  • Other title, escrow, settlement, or transaction-related services.

The cancellation or termination of the underlying real estate transaction does not automatically cancel fees for work already completed.

Third-Party Costs and Expenses

Certain matters or transactions may require payments to third parties, including recording fees, government charges, title searches, lien searches, courier or delivery fees, HOA or condominium fees, filing fees, wire fees, overnight delivery charges, or other outside expenses.

Third-party costs that have already been incurred, paid, ordered, or become noncancelable are nonrefundable, regardless of whether the underlying matter or transaction is ultimately completed.

Any refundable portion of a third-party charge will depend upon whether the third-party provider permits a refund.

Flat-Fee Services

For flat-fee services, payment of a flat fee does not necessarily mean that the entire fee becomes earned immediately upon payment. Fees will be treated as earned in accordance with the applicable engagement agreement, the services performed, and applicable law.

Once the work associated with a flat-fee service has been performed or completed and the fee has been earned, the earned fee is nonrefundable, even if the client later decides not to use, sign, record, file, or otherwise proceed with the documents or services provided.

Client Cancellation

Clients may request cancellation of services by contacting the applicable Red Rock office.

A cancellation request does not retroactively cancel work already performed or expenses already incurred.

If work has already begun, Red Rock Law Group or Red Rock Title may deduct all earned fees, completed services, and nonrefundable expenses from any amount otherwise eligible for return.

Refund Requests

Any request for a refund must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed based upon:

  • The services already performed;
  • The stage of the matter or transaction;
  • Fees already earned;
  • Costs or expenses already incurred;
  • Applicable engagement agreements or service terms; and
  • Applicable law and professional responsibility requirements.

Approval of any refund is subject to these terms and does not create an obligation to provide refunds in other matters or transactions.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a question or concern regarding a charge, please contact us directly before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that we have an opportunity to review the matter.

Initiating a chargeback does not eliminate responsibility for fees that were properly earned, services that were performed, or costs that were incurred on your behalf.

Controlling Agreements

For legal matters, your signed engagement agreement with Red Rock Law Group controls in the event of any conflict between that agreement and this website policy.

For title or settlement matters, applicable settlement documents, agreements, disclosures, and applicable law may also govern.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any right that cannot legally be waived or to permit the retention of funds that are required to be returned under applicable law or professional responsibility rules.
